At the heart of this system is a GP Reeves pressure pot, which feeds a custom tooling setup designed specifically for our customer’s battery apparatus. This setup includes 14 diaphragm valves, each paired with an advanced Keyence sensor that integrates seamlessly with the system controller. As material flows past each Keyence sensor, the sensor precisely measures the volume and signals the controller to close its corresponding valve once the target volume is reached. This ensures that the correct amount of material is dispensed accurately and that the process remains clean, efficient, and sustainable.

Our advanced battery fill process leverages over 100 years of combined experience from two global manufacturers. GP Reeves’ cutting-edge dispensing technology, paired with Keyence’s innovative flow sensors, creates a powerful solution that propels battery development far beyond the competition. Clamp-on sensors measure the dispense volume during battery filling without interrupting material flow, while a customized control package monitors the sensors and automatically closes each diaphragm valve. Operators can verify system accuracy in real time, thanks to live dispense volume readings from Keyence controllers.
