ACE Valve Repair Kit for -S External Seals

This is the -S Repair Kit, which replaces all external seals. I’m demonstrating on the ACE eight series, but the process is similar for all sizes of ACE valves. This kit includes the seals you can see on the outside, so if you have something like a small flat blade screwdriver, or if you have this handy seal extraction tool, you can take them off that way. This tool is separately purchased, in our CSTK-1 kit.

The repair kit drawing comes included along with the seals. Whenever we’re replacing seals, it’s good to use just a little bit of grease on it. So take a dab and apply grease to the first one which is white and then the brown O-ring.

And then the second white back ring. And once they’re in place, you just want to make sure the white rings are seated. Sometimes they’ll stretch out a little bit. You want to make sure they’re round and they’re nicely in the pocket. And you’re going to install with a little  bit of grease on the seals and it should slide right in.
