OIL FILLING ASSEMBLY
A generator manufacturing company came to GP Reeves looking for a more effective, efficient, and reliable filling solution for their generator engines. Our customer had three different generator models featuring two different engines that required repeatable oil filling. GP Reeves was able to create a system that recognized the varying generators and could handle their specific dispensing needs. By combining a robotic, vision-driven system with our dispensing expertise, GP Reeves developed a dispensing solution that enabled the OEM to simplify their generator manufacturing process.
Preparing Transaxles for Dirty Work
Messy production processes lead to frustration, downtime, material waste, increased costs, and reduced production capacity. A systems integrator approached GP Reeves for a solution to an inefficient RTV application process. The company was attempting to apply RTV material to the transaxle housing used in John Deere tractors and XUVs. These vehicles provide operators with dependable means to efficiently clear land, manage livestock, cultivate crops, and complete harvests. While these machines are built for tough jobs, their assembly processes should remain clean and streamlined.

Before beginning the process of dispensing oil, it is essential to first extract the material from its original container. Our oil pumps are specifically designed for effective and reliable oil dispensing in production environments.

- OR Series: Designed for gravity feed, available in various materials and sizes.
- OPV Series: Comprising oil pressure vessels with options to include a pump or sensor.
- OPxR Series: Featuring a pump and a powder-coated steel reservoir.
- OP Series: Equipped with a pump that mounts directly onto the pail or drum.
- OPT Series: Floor-mounted tote pumps designed to be placed next to a customer-provided tote.

What kind of oil preparation device do you need?
GP Reeves offers innovative and efficient oil preparation systems to ensure materials are properly dispensed according to your operation’s specific requirements. While we always recommend using our oil filters, they are particularly essential when pumping from a pail or barrel. These filters help remove metal chips, foreign materials, and other debris, preventing jams in your dispensing system and contamination in your end product.
Additionally, our oil regulators manage the supply pressure to the dispenser, ensuring that the material is delivered at the optimal pressure for your dispensing systems.
Which type of dispenser will provide the most optimal dispense?
- GSS/GSSM Oil Dispensers: High-speed dispensers capable of up to 180 operations per minute, designed for outputs less than 0.066 cc of oil.
- GPMD11000 Series Dispensers: Perfect for medium-output, low-pressure oil dispensing, with a volume range of 0.02 to 6.20 cc.
- GPMD3000L Series Oil Dispensers: Recommended for high-pressure dispensing, suitable for volumes ranging from 0.05 to 210 cc.
For exceptional precision, our AA oil dispensers utilize a PLC to control piston movement, allowing for precise volume control and adjustment. These dispensers can handle 0.02 to 700 cc of oil, detect and reject material containing air, and dispense at controlled rates for even distribution.
Moreover, our RotoMeter dispensers are ideal for applications involving pourable liquids requiring measured or continuous flow dispensing, making them perfect for filling applications.
