G. P. Reeves Inc. has been engineering and fabricating highly successful
lubricant dispensing systems since 1971. In 1989 G. P. Reeves designed a
lubricator (often caller oilers) for the conveyors of the Proctor & Schwartz ovens, dryers, roasters,
heatsetters, and coolers. The conveyors include two parallel slow-moving
large-pitch chains from two to twelve feet apart. After extensive testing,
Proctor & Schwartz and Wolverine Corp.
(later known as Wolverine Proctor & Schwartz) began installing these
lubricators or oilers on their bake ovens, cheese melters, rapid smoke ovens,
scrap dryers, tobacco dryers, stem dryers, toasters, leaf and strip dryers,
batt dryers, and curers. Hundreds of these excellent lubricators or oilers are in
operation throughout the world.
